​      I began teaching English in November of 2023, previously I had worked as a full time medical interpreter, it was a job I took to improve my Spanish, I knew it would be challenging and it was. Although I managed to become a skilled interpreter I didn't feel it was the right career for me, so I began looking for a new way to employ the abilities I had. That is when I discovered teaching, working as a private English teacher has been a life changing experience for me, I learned how to develop an ability I hadn't known I had and I enjoyed it. Gradually I developed connections with my students from around the world, I've learned about many different cultures and made connections I would've never made had I not chosen this line of work. I found that I enjoyed teaching, not just the rules of English grammar but through sharing my personal experiences and knowledge I have gained over the years as well. My journey has given me purpose and direction, I enjoy making connections and helping people reach their goals. I hope to continue on this path and this website represents the next step, I see this project as a way to help many, and to give many a resource they can use to improve and learn. I want to thank you for your support and I welcome you to this website, it's an ongoing project and it represents my homage to English and teaching.

      Although teaching is a very important part of who I am, I also enjoy working out, photography, riding motorcycles, watching movies, cooking, learning languages (I know how to speak Spanish and French), and several other activities as well. I feel blessed and thankful for all the wonderful experiences and people I have in my life. I was born in Colombia but my parents took me to New York City at a very young age, there I grew up and spent most of life. Growing up in that city was a roller coaster ride for me, there were many great memories and many I would rather forget as well. Although I no longer live in New York, I will always consider that part of my life as integral to who I am today, and I will never forget the people I left behind and still love.

English is the most prominent language in our world today, it is at its core a flexible and expressive language and it's tied to a lot of contemporary culture and history. It's a gateway to the modern world much like Latin and Greek were during the time of the Roman Empire.
